Who we are looking for:

We are seeking to appoint an Executive Assistant to the Director of Education and Children’s Services. The ideal candidate should have experience of working in education and is proactive, highly organised, and a confident individual.

Reporting to the Director of Education and Children’s Services, you will be responsible for providing proactive high-quality, specialist and trusted support to enable and support the effective delivery of all aspects of their role as the strategic leader for Education and Children’s Services. Your responsibilities will include;

• Managing communication directly and on behalf of the Director with a range of internal and external stakeholders, as appropriate
• Attending meetings and events on the Director’s behalf, where appropriate
• Ensuring the Director is fully briefed and prepared ahead of all meetings – ensuring they have all information and documents required
• Management and coordination of Educational projects
• Writing and supporting in the production of papers for the CEO, SMG, Board, Committee meetings and Directorate meetings
• Managing the Director’s day-to-day administration

This is a permanent position.

This role will require a DBS check.
