About you:
5+ years of experience designing and developing learning content in a corporate environment, preferably in the Technology industry
Experience building trainings around difference areas of the business, including compliance
Deep programming expertise with instructional design and development tools and applications including but not limited to Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Appitierre Evolve, Gomo, Camtasia, Google Docs, and Google Slides.
Deep expertise in visual design tools including but not limited to Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
A consistent record of applying instructional design techniques, with a portfolio of successful, effective learning experiences.
Have experience in project management and resource planning and allocation.
Experience in and champion human-centered design.
An exceptional ability to write clear, concise, grammatically correct, and effective instructional content.
You provide exceptional detail in developing learning objects that include text, graphics, videos, and simulations.
You are a strong collaborator and excellent communicator with the ability to establish relationships and influence outcomes.
You appreciate, are accepting, and take action on feedback on your work.
You excel in areas of ambiguity, look for the broader picture, are curious, continuously improving, and ask questions.
You are optimistic and demonstrate a strong ability to address setbacks and/or obstacles and show flexibility when projects change. You offer solutions, new goals, project plan adjustments, and proactively and effectively connect with partners.
You are able to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas on solutions. You seek clarity and frame appropriate questions to obtain the intended information from subject matter experts, partners, and team members.

About the Role:
Analyze, scope, design, develop, and implement engaging, informational, and visually compelling in-person and online learning experiences and materials to support Etsy’s employee base while aligning with business needs, satisfying resource constraints, and delivering on intended learning and business outcomes
Conceptualize creative ways to present content in a way that accelerates performance.
Proactively research modern learning content and apply critical thinking outside of subject matter expert conversations.
Review and analyze training feedback data to ensure training content is successful and is meeting the needs of the learner.
Provide exceptional attention to detail in visual structure in alignment with style guide standards and expectations.
Refine, maintain, and ensure all training materials are consistent and up-to-date, and in line with products and larger training goals and initiatives.
Lead conversations and demonstrate effective and proactive communication with subject matter experts, partners, and team members.
Proactively lead partners and subject matter experts in the content design and development process, ensuring alignment, engagement, and expectation management.
Use human-centered design principles to research, create, and prioritize our learning experience roadmap in new and existing content areas aligned to company goals and priorities.
Incorporate learner feedback into continuous curriculum improvement.

You will be working closely with a team based in Seattle, WA. The role can be 100% remote but candidates will need to be available for core hours, 8am – 11am PST.
