We are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs.

What You’ll Do:
Oversee full program oversight for Consumer Marketing Individual Contributor (IC) training.

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across our Consumer Marketing teams and key business partners to identify knowledge and skill gaps and deliver on the right needs for specific training and development opportunities.

Use their knowledge of innovative learning design and technologies to maximize learning potential by embracing adult learning theory and ADDIE delivery methodologies. This will include the development and delivery of training curriculum (ILT/ViLTs, eLearning, Blended, job aids) and facilitation (where applicable) of training courses for our ICs.

Responsible for driving awareness and communication of the individual training programs to maximize attendance across multiple locations.

Developing class surveys to manage measurement related to the effectiveness of training sessions and development of readout materials related to the training survey results.

Act as a point of intake for learning requests from our Consumer Marketing teams.

Vendor management was needed for content development and training facilitators.

Must Haves:
5 years experience with training, facilitating, learning & development, or related field

Must have consumer marketing experience

Experience in developing and delivering learning content in a virtual format

Advanced knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models

Experience implementing adult learning best practices, accessible design, and inclusive design

Ability to problem-solve complex content in collaboration with cross-functional partners

Expert verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discover, understand and translate business requirements into actionable items.

Experience working with Executive Leadership.

Familiarity with the front and back-end of learning management systems (ex. Cornerstone) is a plus.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational, graphic design, or related field.

Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s Menlo Park, CA office once it is determined safe to do so.
