The Mark Hotel Hiring for Marketing Manager at New York, NY Full Time

$75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Executes marketing strategies and actions in support of hotel’s marketing plan
• Monitors competitive hotel actions and communicates findings
• Plays key role in achieving the hotel’s digital marketing efforts including but not limited to:
• Hotel website content management
• Execution of targeted e-mail campaigns to enhance guest customer relationship management (CRM) in both local and international markets.
• Content and relationship management with partner and affiliate websites, etc.
• Online advertising
• Devise and implement social media engagement strategies, developing specific, targeted methods to generate awareness, SEO optimization, engagement, and e-commerce conversion through social media (primarily including but not exclusive to: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)
• Monitor, coordinate and respond to reputation management channels such as guest comment cards, online travel-related review sites (Trip Advisor, Yelp!) to generate positive exposure.
• Coordinates and assists with PR agency initiatives including photo shoots and cataloguing press mentions.
• Assists with marketing initiatives of hotel outlets such as bar, restaurant, etc.
• Provides input in creative direction in concept development, copy and design for visual materials for promotions, web projects, Power Point presentations, invitations, printed collateral and internal communications using design software such as Adobe Photoshop.
• Works closely with sales team to implement (scheduling offer, development, production) programs/promotions that impact revenue in various market segments including travel agents, groups/meetings and catering.
• Supports Sales Team in the development and delivery of marketing materials requested including trade-show communication (ensuring booths reflect brand standards, updates as needed)
• Ensures templates are created for all tactical actions
• Supports and analyzes customer perception, new trends
• Works with local printing vendors to obtain production bids for printed collateral and special projects. Makes recommendations based on cost and capability.
• Assists in organizing and planning property specific events.
• Coordinate all communications between internal key stakeholders and external vendor partnerships to meet all marketing – both on and off-line – targets and deadlines.
• Provides regular s and communicates new programs, promotions and results to stake holders including Hotel Operations, Sales, Revenue Management., etc.
• Responsible for weekly and Monthly ing of efforts
• Manages all in-hotel messaging/ email and verbiage to guests
• Interviews, selects and trains employees and manage payroll.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; a focus area of study in Marketing or Communications is strongly preferred but not required.
• Astutely familiar with all pillars of an integrated digital marketing plan, including but not exclusive to: social media, e-mail marketing, lead gen, paid and organic search marketing, display advertising, CRM, location-based marketing, content marketing and PPC.
• General knowledge and experience in marketing and promotion with a desire and willingness to learn all phases of marketing: strategy, advertising, sales promotion, production and public relations.
• Possesses exceptional presentation and writing skills, including both creative and search-oriented copywriting for web.

• Self-motivated, expert problem solver, and collaborative, abstract thinker who requires minimal supervision in a fast-moving, fluid work environment.
