The Luxury Pergola is a small business in Westfield, IN. We are a family business of Amazon and IU alumni bringing the first ever motorized aluminum, pergolas direct to consumer.
This product segment represents the largest growing product in the outdoor living segment of the United States commercial and residential market.
Until now, it has been too expensive for many, but our new design allows it to be shipped straight to the customer to enjoy.
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to join our team. As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient supply chain management.
Your role will involve forecasting demand, identifying trends, and implementing strategies to minimize excess or obsolete inventory while maximizing availability.
This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in inventory management software, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various departments.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan and implement logistical strategies, ensuring efficient and cost-effective distribution of products.
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring smooth process flow from order fulfillment to delivery.
Supervise and manage logistics staff, including setting performance objectives, conducting evaluations, and implementing training programs.
Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to negotiate contracts and resolve any issues that arise.
Analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
Evaluate and on logistics performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) to upper management.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
Oversee the maintenance of logistics-related databases, systems, and paperwork.
Implement new technologies and stay informed of advancements in logistics software and tools to improve logistic processes.
Manage and minimize the risks associated with logistics, including lost shipments and inventory discrepancies.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Proficiency in logistics software or transport management systems.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of legal requirements and standards related to shipping and logistics.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
