The London Cremation Company Hiring for Finance Assistant Job at London, England Full Time

Purpose

To support the Assistant Management Accountant and Finance Director to deliver a professional finance service to the company.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with suppliers, processing invoices, making supplier and other payments
• Raising, checking, and processing Purchase Orders
• Ensuring all documents and bank payments are accurately coded and allocated
• Resolving creditor/debtors queries
• Processing sales invoices, leasing with customers
• Credit control via phone and email. Dealing with queries by telephone and email, including liaising with other departments/Sites, to ensure they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
• Production of aged debtor’s reports.
• Adhoc finance duties

The above is not an exhaustive list, and the job holder will be required to carry out other reasonable duties as and when required.

Required Key Skills & Competencies

2 years+ experience working in a finance assistant position.

You will be eager to learn and driven to hit deadlines

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships and build rapport across all levels of the Company.

Excellent attention to detail.

Intermediate Excel skills and experience of competently and effectively using accounting software.

Pro-actively seek to obtain the information required to do the job. Passes on accurate and timely information to support Assistant Management account.

Demonstrate flexibility and remain positive and proactive at all times.

Work well with a team, helping and supporting each other.

Anticipate and respond to the needs of the Company and its customers, looking for and using opportunities to exceed customer expectations and ensuring consistent quality in all their dealings with employees and customers.

An eagerness to learn and ability to take ownership of their own Training and Development and partakes in any training deemed necessary by the line manager or management.
