Job Profile
As a key member of the HR department you will be responsible for the leadership and management of The London Clinic’s on-boarding and compliance service, ensuring that new starters are on-boarded in accordance to agreed SLAs, processes and polices.
Job Type: Full Time, 12 months fixed term contract covering maternity leave.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Location: The London Clinic Head Office – 1 Park Square West, London, NW1 4LJ. Hybrid working model with remote working available.

Duties & Responsibilities
Lead a team of HR Compliance Officers, and ensure a high quality compliance and on-boarding service to all new joiners to the Clinic (Permanent, FTC and Bank workers).
Accountable for managing the pre-employment checking process of own caseload which includes references, occupational health clearance, DBS disclosure, right to work information, visa applications, professional registration details, risk assessments etc.
Carry out regular performance appraisals with all direct reports and to support staff in their professional development and achieving the teams agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
Work closely with the Resourcing Manager/Resourcing Business Partners to continually develop and improve the quality and value of our on-boarding processes and policies.
Providing management reporting which includes ownership of the Compliance trackers, providing weekly update reports for the recruitment team and hiring manager community.
Ensuring a proactive and professional service, providing expert advice on all compliance/on-boarding related queries to candidates, recruitment partners, managers & external parties.
Skills & Experience
Experience of working in a Compliance Officer role, handling compliance processes, e.g. reference, DBS, right to work checks & professional registrations etc.
Previous team leadership, supervisory or management experience is advantageous.
Experience of on-boarding new hires/new joiners in a timely and efficient manner.
Strong IT skills, in particular MS Excel, with experience of data production and analysis, e.g. dashboards, Compliance KPIs/SLAs etc.
Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
Experience of working in a fast paced, high-volume environment with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to internal/external stakeholders.
