Accounting Manager Job Description

Job Duties:

• Ensure that all work is completed in an accurate, efficient, and professional manner.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports for all Ranch departments.
• Reconcile and maintain all required financial documentation.
• Lead annual budget preparation and manage month to month performance.
• Manage accounts payable through Bill.com to ensure that expenses are accurately allocated to the correct account and class.
• Prepare and process wire transfers, issue manual checks as necessary.
• Assist all departments with financial information as necessary, and upon request.
• Analyze and resolve issues that come up with regard to all aspects of Ranch finance.
• Work with Reservations Coordinator to ensure proper billing and timely collection of reservations payments.
• Process bi-weekly payroll through ADP, submit 401k report and payment, and record relevant journal entries.
• Responsible for entering new hire paperwork and processing terminations as necessary
• Ensure bank accounts are reconciled on a weekly basis and credit card accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis.
• In cooperation with the external IT consultants, manage Ranch IT needs and provide basic troubleshooting.
• Assist the General Manager in the H2B visa application process – conducting interviews as necessary, coordinating travel to and from the Ranch, track statistical information in relation to the program.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, and design and implement new systems as appropriate.
• Oversee at least one admin staff.

Candidate Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability and proficiency in all areas of Accounting, from Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Inventory Control, Payroll, Budgeting, P&L preparation and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, along with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with maximum efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to exercise sound logic and judgment in evaluating situations and utilizing appropriate resources.
• Must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
