We are The Level Goods, a premium wellness company that specializes in vitamins, supplements and hydration stick packs. Our headquarters are in Boston, MA and we have a manufacturing facility in Western Massachusetts. We are growing very quickly and need an controller to join our team ASAP!

Primary Responsibilities Include

· Developing, implementing and improving accounting processes and procedures

· Ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting

· Reconciling and maintaining the bank accounts using QuickBooks and our CRM Software

· Reconciling credit card processing statements

· Performing the month-end financial accounting reports and presenting to CEO on a monthly basis.

· Working cross-functionally with other departments to ensure proper accounting for new or unique transactions.

· All bookkeeping requirements (A/R and A/P) for all expenses and transactions, daily, weekly, monthly reporting

· Manage bank accounts as well as incoming/outgoing transfers

· Payroll: track, report, and authorize payroll on a bi-weekly basis

· Examine tax policies and manage tax payments/returns. Be able to gather all necessary tax documents for tax filing preparation

• Building out monthly P&L statements
• Building out cost analysis

Basic Qualifications

· 2+ years of corporate or operational accounting experience

· BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar discipline with analytical bias

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quickbooks

· Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

· Accounting experience with Credit card processing statements

· CPA (or equivalent)

· Corporate Tax filing history
