Property Lawyer Salary: £43,000 – £56,750 per annum Location: South East Working: Hybrid About the Property Lawyer Role: Sellick Partnership are proud to be working with an exceptional shared legal services team in the heart of the South East. We are looking for a Property Lawyer to join a large alternative business structure operating on behalf of public Sector Clients which includes local government. The role is to specifically work as part of a team in the provision commercial property on behalf of public sector clients in the East Midlands and South East. Using a ‘virtual’ legal office, the organisation seamlessly deploy the capacity of their entire team to support all of their clients, wherever they are based. They offer the benefit of carefully developed business processes and the latest case management technology to ensure client matters are dealt with efficiently and expeditiously. Having obtained and maintained LEXCEL accreditation, the Law Society’s quality mark, their team ensures a level of resilience which is not deliverable within smaller teams. They are also excellent value for money – a key factor in their expansion. Key Responsibilities of the Property Lawyer role: Depending on the level of experience, the lawyers in the property team deal with the following type of work: * Leases of industrial units, lease renewals, s on Title, easements/wayleaves, option agreements, development agreements, Transfers pursuant to s106 agreements, statutory Transfers, disposals of land for residential development, acquisitions for highway schemes (alongside CPO) or social housing (individual units or entire blocks of new flats) * Some members of the team assist with queries on old or existing housing stock and Right to Buys * Principal lawyers are likely to be involved in more complex strategic development sites. The work is interesting and varied and the extent/nature of our clients’ estates means that the quality of the work and projects you get involved in is excellent The role will be a hybrid working arrangement and you will have the opportunity to work from 1 of their 3 offices in central Northampton, Bedford or Cambridge one day per week.
