Commercial Lawyer 12 Months Fixed Term Contract 37 hours per week (Full Time) £40,000- £45,500 per annum ASAP Start Sellick Partnership are looking for a Commercial Lawyer to join a well-established local authority on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly organisation with a wealth of knowledge in the Midlands We are looking for a confident self-motivated lawyer to provide commercially focused legal advice, holding a varied caseload of commercial, contract and general local government law matters. Dealing with a wide range of projects, including the regeneration projects and some support to construction contracts. The ideal candidate will have a background in local authority and experience dealing with contracts – however people from a private practice background dealing with contracts OR from a local authority background but dealing with commercial litigation that would like to transition into contracts, are encouraged to apply.
