Commercial Lawyer (Transport) Permanent £62,242 to £75,645 per annum + benefits 1 day office, 4 day remote (flexible on working hours) Commercial Contract Lawyer is required to join a public sector organisaton on a permanent basis as part of their growth plans within the team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialsed public sector organisation which solely focuses on transport and development projects withi the region. Their vision is to make the region the leading place to learn, live and work. This client has a small legal team of 4 and is looking at expanding their team. Having personally placed the majority of this legal team, they are a fantastic team to work for and you will gain invaluable experience with some niche projects. The organisation is heavily involved within transport and regeneration. As the Commercial Lawyer, you will be reponsible for; * Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and provide legal advice and assistance regarding a mix of commercial law, contract and procurement, corporate & company law, Governance and Information Governance. * Contracts will include construction contracts, development agreements, franchise agreements, collaboration agreements and other contracts arising out of development As part of the team, as the Contract Lawyer, you will be working towards; * doubling the size of the local economy * accelerating house building rates to meet local and UK need * delivering outstanding and much needed connectivity in terms of transport and digital links * providing the UK’s most technically skilled workforce * transforming public service delivery to be much more seamless and responsive to local need Benefits for the Contract Lawyer; * Office attendance once a week, rest of the week home working * Flexibility with working hours * Excellent and competitive Public Sector pension scheme * Opportunities for further development Sellick Partnership is proud to be an inclusive and accessible recruitment business and we support applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances.
