Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Instructors to join our educational team. You will work with students of various ages in small groups to teach game design utilizing SCRATCH (Ages 6-10) and/or PYTHON (Ages 10-14). After each instructional session, you will need to document what tasks you worked on so that you can share the student’s progress with their parents and Learning Specialists. Our ideal candidate has worked professionally with school-age students for at least one year or is currently enrolled in an accredited university.

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare and plan lessons.

Set lesson goals and milestones.

Provide instruction on how to develop games utilizing software.

Provide encouragement and positive motivation

Prepare materials specific to a final project.

Collaborate with parents and Instructional Specialists to evaluate student needs.

Document progress to discuss with Instructional Specialists and parents.

Qualifications and Skills

Currently enrolled in an accredited university.

Proven experience working with children and older students

Able to work after school hours, nights, Saturdays and/or Summer Camp

Excellent communication skills

Knowledgable in Scratch and/or Python

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tech savvy
