Role Overview
This role is the perfect platform on which to launch a career in in-house recruitment and/or HR. You will form part of the People Strategy team looking after talent management alongside the Recruitment Manager.
Historically having had no internal recruitment processes in place, you will provide full assistance through a transformational period whilst helping to implement best practice in talent management. You will be responsible for the onboarding of new starters, interview scheduling and management of our talent communities.
There will be ample opportunity to ad-value and stretch your skillset as you will be part of our wider HR Operations team with opportunity to be involved in a high number of upcoming projects in People Strategy and HR.
Role duties
Work closely with the Recruitment Manager to understand business requirements and priorities.
Input new starters and temporary joiners into the HR system (BambooHR) in a timely manner.
Day to day management of pre-employment screening process liaising with our external provider.
Schedule interviews liaising with candidates, the business and recruitment agencies.
Run various People Strategy and Recruiting reports.
Maintain high level of accuracy on data and metrics using relevant tackers.
Effectively manage follow up responses to candidates within a timely manner following direct applications and screen those suitable for consideration.
Maintain good relationships with agencies and direct hire candidates.
Network with potential candidates (passive or active) for future roles and populate Talent Pools with relevant candidates.
Support relevant recruitment events/conferences.
Run various People Strategy and Recruiting reports.

A strong desire to build career in Recruitment/HR essential.
Prior exposure to a recruitment setting preferable.
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience is preferable.
Background in professional or financial services preferable.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Outstanding relationship building ability.
