We are looking for a skilled Education Officer to join our busy team
The Wildlife Trusts for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside is passionate about opportunities for people to develop meaningful connections with, and take action for nature. Our Education Officers inspire people, while providing opportunities for learning and in nature.
The purpose of this role is to lead high quality learning sessions for the Mesolithic and Modern Life Project at Lunt Meadows; including on and off site sessions delivered in conjunction with the learning and engagement plan.
The successful candidate will also lead on the development and delivery of high quality outdoor learning, including environmental education to schools and groups visiting Mere Sands Wood; and lead the planning and delivery of family and holiday programmes on those sites.
We offer 28 days holidays plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service. A friendly and flexible working environment with the chance to be a part of the largest nature conservation body in the area, working together to improve our region for nature as well as engaging and inspiring people to connect and take action for wildlife.
