Advert Text Based in the stunning Kent countryside and within the cathedral city of Canterbury, we are looking to recruit a brand new role at the King’s School. The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Co-ordinator will be responsible for the ongoing development of staff and pupil Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategic plans and to embed it into school and department plans. The role will work primarily with staff in all areas of the schools, but pupils will need to be heard and consulted regularly.

The role’s key responsibilities and desired skills and competencies can be found within the attached job description.

Working hours will normally be 37½ hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm for 52 weeks per year. These can be discussed at interview. Some out-of-hours and weekend work might occasionally be required in order to deliver all aspects of the role.
