SUMMARY: The Talent Operations Specialist is responsible for how we attract, hire, and support our employees throughout their tenure. You will help develop the process and strategy of the full life cycle of recruiting and candidate experience to attract a diverse pool of talent for The Joshua School, then assist the implementation of best-in-class internal operations practices, support the ongoing administration of how we onboard, offboard, and everything in between. The Talent Operations Specialist will support an exceptional employee experience by supporting the administration of benefits, employee development and performance management practices. This job operates in both a school campus and a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Extended or non-traditional work hours may sometimes be required. Some local travel will be required for this position, between campuses and as required for recruiting purposes. Noise level is quiet to moderate.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
