Job Summary:

The Intellekt Group is looking for a Human Resources – Talent Acquisitions Specialist who will work closely with the HR team to meet HR recruitiment goals and objectives. The Human Resources -Talent Acquisitions Specialist will source, screen and help in-process high quality professionals. They will maintain collaborative relationships with the hiring managers and candidates. Essential Functions:

• Collaborates with hiring managers to identify desired skill sets and position details

• Sources candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline

• Screens candidates to ensure they meet the position’s criteria and qualifications

• Manages internal applicant tracking system (PayChex), and other third-party resources

• Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers

• Follows up with candidates after all interviews

• Checks candidate references and provides written summaries

• Assists with onboarding tasks to encoumpass full life cycle recruitment

• Tracks metrics associated with hiring, e.g. average time to fill, average cost per hire, sources, etc.

• Develops, updates, and reviews job descriptions with hiring manager

• Leverages social media and marketing tools to expand our audience

• Develops and maintains networking relationships with professional organizations to help identify qualified candidates

• Develops creative and innovative sourcing strategies to recruit qualified applicants

• Supports proposal efforts by sourcing candidate resumes based on requirements to ensure each resume is formatted and compliant

• Represents company at onsite recruiting events

• Performs other HR-related duties

• Performs other administrative duties

• Reviews and dispositions leads in applicant tracking systems in a timely manner

• Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years total work experience with recruiting; DoD, Law Enforcement, or Federal Contracting experience prefered

• Knowledge of HR regulations and recruiting best practices

• Willingness to cold call prospects via phone to proactively generate pool of candidates

• Ability to recruit for a variety of skillsets across the US and occasionally abroad

• Must be internet savvy, staying informed on trends and innovative recruiting techniques; experienced in mining online databases and utilizing social media recruiting solutions

• Ability to manage competing demands, while being extremely adaptable and flexible

• Exhibits resourcefulness, creativity, a sense of urgency as well as a strong customer focus

• Ability to dissect position requirements to ascertain candidate qualifications

• Working knowledge of state and federal employment regulations to ensure compliance in hiring practices

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to aid in negotiation with prospective employees and management

• Strong presentation skills to enhance the organization’s image to prospective employees

• Must have a high level of integrity to handle confidential information

• Willingness to learn and support other duties in HR, Security, and Administration

• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to navigate applicant tracking systems and tools

Desired Skills:

• Advanced experience with Excel and other MS Office products

Education:

Associate’s Degree required. BS/BA degree desired.
