We are looking for a highly motivated People & Culture leader to partner with the CEO and Leadership team enabling a best practice People function. With a dual ing line to THE ICONIC’s Chief Executive Officer and the Global Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for leading THE ICONIC’s People & Culture function in the ANZ Region and be required to work across our main hubs including the CBD and our Fulfilment Centre in Yennora.

This is a hands-on role that will require a strong balance of leadership, teamwork, analytical skills, vision, energy and the desire to make THE ICONIC a world-class employer. This role requires someone with a broad background in a range of operational areas (i.e. Comp & Ben, HR systems, process, employee relations), the ability to form strong working relationships, influence, and lead in the face of ambiguity and most importantly, be a guardian for THE ICONIC’s principles and culture.

• Become a trusted adviser to the CEO and senior management team on all things People & Culture.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to P&C team and ensuring the delivery of quality and timely services and advice
• Ensures consistency in roll-out of all core employee lifecycle processes, policies and initiatives across THE ICONIC, including development of SOPs and guidelines.
• Oversight of THE ICONIC’s People budget and ing for THE ICONIC, including working directly with key senior management members on the monthly people financial analysis.
• Timely management and advice on workforce matters, incorporating policy, performance management, complaints, industrial compliance, disciplinary matters, health management and Award entitlement information.
• Develop and coordinate the roll-out of innovative P&C initiatives to support THE ICONIC business strategy, including training, leadership development, engagement initiatives and programs.
• Maintains a full perspective over planned P&C activities and execution ensuring data is captured for analytics and ing
• Continue to enhance the people analytics to assist with data driven people & commercial decisions.

What Success Looks Like…

• A well rounded HR Generalist with experience in partnering with a CXO/CEO and guiding the senior leadership team with strong command of ANZ Employee Relations landscape and complexities.
• A broad range of hands-on P&C experience earned over a number of years preferably in consumer facing and tech sectors.
• Experience in process improvement, quality control and continuous evolution of people practices
• Superior organisational skills in multitasking with the ability to effectively empower the team and ensure quality delivery of business needs.
• Experience in leading and developing a multi disciplinary P&C team including the use of HRIS & other people systems (Workday experience highly desirable).
• A caring people first mentality with the ability to make well thought through (often difficult) commercial and people decisions when needed.
• Ability to work independently and in a global matrix ing structure
• Excellent communications, professional attitude and ability to engage senior stakeholders in an effective manner.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Sense of proactivity and anticipation; a high quality standard and a sense of urgency.
• Strong interest in e-commerce and technology.
