The HT Group Hiring for Contract Talent Acquisition Coordinator Job at Austin, TX Full Time

The HT Group is in search of an HR Coordinator to support a global operations center in North Austin. This is a contract role with the potential to turn permanent. The ideal individual will have excellent people skills, is a proactive learner, and will have knowledge of HR laws and procedures.

Location: North Austin, in-office

Type: contract, with potential to become permanent, 6+ months

Compensation: $25 – $30 an hour, DOE

As a member of the HR Team, you will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources within a business unit, including but not limited to benefits, employee relations, performance management, training and recruiting. The HR Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related activities and works closely with the HR team, and will support other members within HR.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Administer and communicate HR-related company programs, policies and procedures to all staff and respond to employee and manager inquiries
• Manage recruitment efforts for the business unit by meeting with department managers and forecasting hiring needs, lining out job responsibilities and coordinating interviews
• Work with temporary agencies and serve as key point of contact for all temp hires
• Handle TA coordination and Operations
• Conduct New Hire Orientation
• Collaborate with HRIS Manager and other HR team members to ensure accurate processing of people data.
• Interpret HR policies and procedures with guidance from senior HR team
• Serve as consultant and advisor to the assigned group in the effective management of their teams by delivering exceptional service and influence.
• Offer guidance and advice on operational HR activities in accordance with the local and regional policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail, customer service, data entry and research skills needed.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, work independently and exercise discretion and independent judgment.
• Must have knowledge of database software; human resource systems; Internet software; payroll systems; Microsoft Office suite and use of common office and computer equipment
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now HRIS system is a plus
