The Job:

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated Accounts Payable Officer to join our Sydney Office. Working alongside our hardworking and experienced finance team, this role will involve overseeing the receipt of invoices payable, input of these into the approval system and payment to creditors.

Your day to day will include:

• Work within a team of accounts payable officers to manage ongoing relations with creditors
• Receipt of all invoices payable, input of these into approval system and subsequent payment of outstanding invoices
• Ongoing communication with cinema locations and key approvers within the company.
• Timely Payment of creditors
• Managing Invoice Approvals System
• Consistently demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism with stakeholders

Who we are looking for:

You will be focused, hardworking, agile and motivated to perform under pressure. You’ll also be passionate about exploring opportunities to build the HOYTS community and continually search for improvements and solutions to existing challenges. We’re also looking for someone who has:

• Completed, or is in the process of completing, an accounting degree OR at least 3 years proven experience in an Accounts Payable role
• A strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting
• A team player able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• High attention to detail
• Highly organised with strong time management skills
