The Homeschool Experience Hiring for Art Teacher Job at Raleigh, NC Full Time

This is a position is for an art teacher for Thursdays for our homeschool group between 9:30 – 2:40 (plus set-up/clean-up and planning). The schedule is listed below. You are in charge of all lesson plans so some experience in the four subject areas is required. You’ll need to provide at least 1-2 sub lesson plans for each class for emergencies.

We provide all the supplies and background checks. We are fully insured. We are a laid-back group. Casual dress. Fun and hands-on are key.

Payment is $150 per student. (The exact pay listed for this job is not really exactly since the number may change a bit). If you need a sub, your daily rate will be split 50/50 with the person covering your classes.

This is for 15 weeks starting January 6 and ending April 28. We are off on Feb 17 and April 7th. We fully mask.

The schedule is

9:30 – 10:30 – 12 students, Elementary Art

10:40 -11:40 – 12 students, 3D Art.

12:30 – 1:30 – 14 students, Calligraphy

1:40 -2:40 – 9 students, Drawing 2

There are other opportunities to become part of our community. We have teacher appreciation days, theater productions, end-of-year celebrations, and more. It’s up to you how much you want to engrain yourself into our program. All current teachers have the rights to come back in the fall so this could turn into a long-term contract.

Yes, all are required to mask, social distance, and clean between classes. Classes are small groups. Students can help clean.
