As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Manager to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the medical office, ensuring efficient and effective workflows.
Train and onboard new hires, providing guidance on office policies, procedures, and protocols.
Coordinate and manage the schedules of healthcare providers and staff, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient patient flow.
Collaborate with a third-party billing company, overseeing the billing and collections process, verifying accuracy, and addressing any billing issues or discrepancies.
Monitor and manage office expenses, budgets, and financial records, working closely with the finance department as needed.
Oversee the procurement of medical and office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing.
Manage human resources functions, including recruitment, hiring, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and employee relations.
Develop and implement office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy, privacy, and security of patient information.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
Address patient concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, implementing necessary updates to maintain compliance.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and other stakeholders to optimize operational efficiency and enhance patient care.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office management role.
Strong knowledge of medical office operations, including scheduling, billing, and compliance.
Experience managing third-party billing companies and familiarity with medical billing software.
Knowledge of human resources principles and practices.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software applications.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
Benefits:
