The Highfield Company Looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor at Kent Full Time

Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Kent and surrounding areas

Company: Tier 1 Contractor

A highly reputable Tier 1 Contractor is looking to recruit an exceptional Senior Quantity Surveyor to help deliver a variety of heavy civils, infrastructure, coastal and flood prevention schemes across Kent and the surrounding areas. Flexible working conditions are also offered.

The successful candidate will have a good level of Commercial experience, preferably with a Civils Main Contractor and will have solid NEC contract knowledge.

Duties:

• Liaise with the client, client representatives and other parties on Commercial issues
• Oversee and manage the delivery of multiple projects
• Manage Procurement process
• Provide training and support for junior commercial and operational staff
• Manage and control subcontract packages and change

Requirements:

• Solid Commercial background – ideally from a Contractor organisation
• Suitable Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Good knowledge and understanding of NEC Contracts
• Ideally Civil Engineering experience
