Being a learning Support Practitioner, you are in the heart of supporting individual students in school who may need extra support in their educational journey. Working in small groups or being assigned to work on a 1-1 basis, you will support their progress and help them feel more confident in themselves as learners.

The ideal applicant is someone who will show empathy, resilience, initiative, dedication to our students, and a good sense of humour.

Previous school experience and specialist qualifications are desirable but not essential, as training and guidance will be provided.

As a Grade D practitioner, you will be expected to implement lesson plans, work within our positive behaviour management processes, and make judgments about student progress through the school’s assessment framework.

• Be able to work independently as well as within a team

Good levels of numeracy and literacy are required (GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths).

Salary Details: Grade D: FTE £23,703 – £26,401, Actual £16,439- £18,310

Hours of Work: Term-Time, 30h/week, Fixed term until August 2024 (in the first instance)
