We are looking for an outgoing and engaging individual to join our barista team at the Haven Low-Carb Café.

About us: We are a newly opened café and store located in the east beaches. We offer specialty coffee and teas along with low-carb and gluten-free baked goods, meals, and other delicious healthy food products.

Position title: Barista / Customer Service Team

Hours: Part time – Full Time

Pay: position starts at $15.50 and depending on experience / performance can raise to $18 an hour

Job Summary: Your role is to be the face of our Café, helping to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly. Making the coffee and ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and coffee equipment as well as cleaning. As a small business you will wear many hats including food prep. There is potential for more food prep for those experienced / interested in more food work!

Key Responsibilities

• Go above and beyond to help every single customer 😀
• Make all coffee / teas for in-store and uber customers
• Manage and ensure the smooth operation of all coffee equipment

• Help answer phones, check out customers at cash and tend to all patrons

• Ensure the pristine cleanliness and order of the retail store (cleaning, organizing products)
• Help put away orders, count inventory and other store front duties

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 year in a similar role
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and outgoing personality

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• A love for coffee!

As a small business we are looking for someone who is comfortable taking on different tasks every day and rolling with the punches. You are a problem solver who doesn’t wait to be told what to do. Lastly, we appreciate and reward people who take pride in their work and are willing to be team players.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 – 30 per week

Salary: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
