The Hatchery (Hub) Hiring for Marketing Coordinator at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

The Role

The Hatchery is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to oversee direct marketing campaigns for our online, in person and hybrid events. This role is best suited for a self-starting individual with a proactive attitude and a passion for marketing who is keen to learn and grow. 

The Marketing Coordinator will assist with the implementation of marketing plans, producing copy and design and marketing collateral, including coordinating campaign analysis and ing, distribution of marketing leads and managing all event website creation and maintenance. Responsible for developing, executing and overseeing direct marketing campaigns, alongside managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. 

Key Responsibilities

Manage all marketing activity for a portfolio of events including:

• Past event analysis for related events
• Event set up in Salesforce – including entering of basic details, pricing, sessions/timing, segmentation, ing
• Event set up in Pardot including for email marketing, scoring and automations
• Manage all event website creation and maintenance on Wordpress 
• Create compelling email copy and written communications to drive qualified leads
• Create and manage all promotional material for events alongside the Graphic Designer, including brochures, flyers and banners
• Digital advertising set-up, including LinkedIn Advertising, trackable links for online advertising
• Manage and liaise with external partners (media partners, endorsers and associations) and build relationships
• Manage event advertising budgets and on ROI
• Management and measurement of the campaign progress and ownership of core KPI performance against targets
• Campaign analysis, ing and distribution of marketing leads 
• Produce regular and ad hoc s from the marketing database and campaign analysis

We want to hear from you if you are:

• Degree in Marketing or relevant field 
• At least 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar Marketing role working closely with sales teams to generate leads and monitor performance 
• Exposure in using a marketing automation platform
• Experience in using direct, social and online marketing channels
• Outstanding written communication skills with the ability to formulate advertising and email copy
• Detail-oriented with good organisational skills 
• Strong prioritisation and time management skills required to meet strict deadlines 
• A high level of energy, enthusiasm, creativity and drive to succeed
