The Harbour School at Annapolis and Baltimore Hiring for Apprentice Teacher Full Time

The Harbour School at Annapolis has an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to start a career as a special education teacher and needs to finish his/her bachelors degree. This unique program, in conjunction with Notre Dame of Maryland University offers the right candidate in-classroom training, mentoring and Maryland certification in special education upon program completion. The Harbour School is an innovative non-public school with a 41 year history of creating exceptional special education programs in grades 1-12. Apprentice teacher will work under the supervision of a highly qualified, experienced special educator and with a dynamic team of professionals in the classroom. Tuition is free and there is a monthly stipend which increases at regular intervals. Program will take 12-18 months to complete depending on prior coursework. The ideal candidate will have experience working with special needs populations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.25 – $20.10 per hour
