Here at Halliwell Jones (Wilmslow) Ltd we have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator. The position is located at our Wilmslow Centre consisting of BMW and MINI Sales, Aftersales and Bodyshop. We provide ongoing training and development together with great career progression opportunities.
Halliwell Jones is a successful family run company operating the BMW & MINI franchise in the North West of England and North Wales. Commencing with our first centre at Southport over 30 years ago, Halliwell Jones has grown from an initial staff of 15 to now well in excess of 600, with centres located at Chester, Warrington, Southport, Llandudno in North Wales and Wilmslow.
Reporting to the Group HR Manager, the main objectives of the post are to:
To ensure the efficient administration of the HR function.
To ensure all HR administration is managed consistently in line with company process, policy and good practice, taking into account legislative compliance.
To work in collaboration with other HR personnel and management to ensure the delivery of a seamless and efficient HR service to the business.
Essential criteria for the position includes:
Strong communication, organisation and administrative skills
Focus on attention to detail
High levels of confidentiality and understanding of GDPR
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Good IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Kerridge
Up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation
Good knowledge of ACAS Code of Practice and HR best practice
At least one year of relevant HR experience in a similar role
CIPD Level 3 desirable but not essential
