Part-time Bookkeeper

We are a small expanding company which supplies and installs work surfaces for kitchens, bathrooms and other areas of the home. We are looking for an experienced Part-time Bookkeeper to complete all accounting processes up to the final accounts on a monthly basis. We are based in Bicester and have on-site parking.

You will be using Sage and Excel and your role will include:

· Invoice processing (approximately 80-100 per month) entering data into Sage and then filing hard copies

· Electronic bank and statement reconciliations

· Credit control and management of payment collections

· Dealing with and resolving accounts queries

· Monthly accruals

· Maintaining spread sheets on suppliers, prices and costs

· Assisting with Supplier payments

· All other associated bookkeeping and finance duties as required to maintain an effective and efficient accounting function.

Expected hours are 16 per week, but exact working hours are flexible. Once fully familiar with processes, some home working would be possible.

It is essential that you have:

· Several years experience – ideally 5 years or more

· Computer literacy and some knowledge of Excel

· Experience of using Sage

· An excellent eye for detail

· AAT or other appropriate qualifications

· Knowledge of accounting standards
