We are looking for a passionate leader in the field of early childhood education, one who can guide and train teachers, engage parents and children, implement curriculum, maintain compliance with rules, and communicate well. You will be joining a team that includes passionate and experienced owners, managers, and teachers. We are located in North Raleigh and have a stellar reputation as a premier preschool in the community.

Responsibilities

As a leader at Goddard, your role will be to help oversee day-to-day operations of the school, with the following responsibilities:

• Staff hiring, training, scheduling, retention and appreciation
• Child enrollment, parent engagement, and strong family relationships
• Compliance with licensing, accreditation and State rules
• Compliance with Goddard QA and educational standards
• Implementing Goddard curriculum and reviewing lesson plans, daily activity reports and child portfolios
• Maintaining staff and child files
• Conducting emergency drills and safety audits
• Planning and organizing faculty and family events to promote social, educational, and community engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Child Development, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Director or Assistant Director in a licensed child care center
• A valid North Carolina criminal background check

• Either have or be eligible to apply for North Carolina Level III administration credential
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain a team of qualified teachers
• Demonstrated ability to promote and maintain strong child and parent relationships
• Demonstrated ability to organize, multitask, and manage time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
