Highly trained teachers lead each child to reach developmental milestones, preparing the children for social and academic success. We are looking for fun, energetic, and experienced full-time Lead Teachers for their elite school in Elgin, IL.

*Job Responsibilities: * · Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, effectively and professionally with school personnel, children, and parents · Ability to understand and support the education program using “learning through play” philosophy · Ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times · Ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist with toileting (where necessary) · Ability to lift items/children ~50 pounds · Ability to multitask in a lively environment and work well within a team · Ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies

*Qualifications: * · CDA; however, TCC, AA or BA in ECE or related field preferred · At least 6-months of experience in a licensed facility · A desire to work with children · Meet background check eligibility

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

• Elgin, IL 60124: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Child Care: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
