It’s key focus bringing future of glass technologies to scalability on projects and encouraging reduction in carbon emissions from built environment by appropriate glass selection, up-cycling of glass and use of existing pioneering technologies in glass that being fully transparent can harness electricity from sunlight on the façade.

Sanmukh Bawa, Founder and Director of The Glass Company is a registered glass expert at the British Standards Institute, UK and is the 4th generation glass person in his family run glass business, bringing over 15 years first-hand experience in the specialist field, he has been involved with some of the world’s most challenging glass projects including the Apple Campus 2 HQ in Cupertino and other Apple flagship retails stores.

Job Title: Technical Sales and Architectural support

Location: UK wide

Salary: Competitive dependant on experience.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Duties & Responsibilities:

– Working directly with our clients, architects, contractors and façade industry experts to produce proposals, drawings, reports and correspondence as well as managing time and budget.

– Provide sales support to Architects, Contractors, Developers and Homeowners looking to work with the companies’ products.

– Have understanding of the products which we offer and the technical aspects of each so that accurate information can be provided to clients.

– Become proficient in using the software packages used by the company (general Microsoft software and company CRM system which offers organisational benefits to you)

– Attend meetings with our clients during the sales process as required and deliver CPD presentations.

– General office support where/ as required dependant on your level of experience.

– Full comprehensive training regarding our processes & products will be provided.

Requirements:

• A validated leader who will do “whatever-it-takes” to get the job done!
• Experience in a sales, customer service or client facing role preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and and amend on CAD would be an advantage
• Interest to learn about new products, systems and to use our CRM system (Pipedrive)
• A good grasp of MS office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
• An interest in architecture, engineering or interior design.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, confident when delivering CPD presentations.
• Experience of working in a team environment.
• The ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
• Must live in the UK and willing to travel internationally.
