The Fresh Fish Co Hiring for Seafood Clerk Full Time

Over our years in Ballard, we’ve made a name as the go-to local neighborhood seafood market based on offering the best and freshest seafood, meats, and produce, as well as a curated selection of wines, and a wide variety of other grocery items to engage and satisfy our hungry customers. Now we’re looking to add to our team of enthusiastic individuals as a member of our front counter customer service crew! Must be a quick learner and be always ready to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
• Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, taxable and nontaxable items; and operating a cash register.
• Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash customers.
• Provides pricing information by answering questions.
• Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures and ing needed changes.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

This will be in a fast-paced, attention to detail required type of environment and therefore you must be able to learn quickly, think on your feet, be dependable and ready to work. We are EXTRA busy on weekends and holidays!

Qualifications / Skills:

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent desired
• 0-1 years of retail experience desired
• Effective communication and customer service skills
