Following a period of growth and restructuring we have an exciting opportunity within the HR team. The successful candidate will work closely with HR colleagues, Managers and the Head of Therapeutic Training to develop and deliver core mandatory training modules appropriate to the organisations various divisions (including but not limited to; substance misuse, probation wellbeing services, clinical, housing, IAPt, employability and volunteers).
What you will be doing?:
Strategy
The successful candidate will support the Director of HR to implement the training strategy across the organisation in order to achieve KPI’s. Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders when developing or delivering training sessions.
Service Delivery
Review each core module to ensure that the content is current and relevant to the diverse organisation
Ensure that all material and resources are engaging and thought provoking for learners and develop lesson plans accordingly
Provide a year ahead training delivery schedule so that employees and managers can plan ahead
Utilise internal subject matter experts to maximise our output within the organisation
Deliver each module regularly ensuring it is responding to organisation need
To provide general advice and guidance to employees and volunteers on appropriate learning and development courses and processes
Performance Management
To support the HRBP’s with collating an annual training needs analysis to inform the needs of the organisation
Assist with the annual performance review by collating information from personal development plans and ensuring they are accurately logged onto the HR database.
To ensure that the administration for the team is carried out in accordance with Forward’s policies and procedures
Regularly monitor and audit the workload of the Training Administrator providing direction and clarity when needed
Provide probation reviews and quarterly line management to the training Administrator
Administration
Work with the Training Administrator to ensure effective administration of training events.
Prepare and deliver detailed reports on the effectiveness of the training sessions delivered and the impact on the departmental KPI’s.
Work with other members of the HR Team to carry out an on-going review of the overall adequacy of the administrative systems and related technology.
What we are looking for?:
The successful candidate will have experience of developing and delivering training modules to suit a variety of audiences; including, assessing needs, plan, develop, coordinate, deliver, monitor, and evaluation.
Having excellent facilitation skills, they will be a self-starter who is highly organised with the ability to line manage and support the Training Administrator.
They will work within a team but also be able to work independantly, collaborating as needed with colleagues. An understanding of the addiction and criminal justice is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications
Registration with a professional body such as CIPD or AOF
and
A relevant L5 qualification in Learning and Development
or
A L3 Certificate or Diploma in Learning and Development
