Division – Department: Sirovich Center for Balanced Living – Older Adult Services
Classification: Part-time Per Diem
JOB PURPOSE
Provides weekly computer instruction to older adults as part of the center’s regular programming.
SCOPE OF INFLUENCE
Regular contact with members who participate in technology programs through the Sirovich Center for Balanced Living
Regular communication with staff regarding attendance, participation, and supplies
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Computer Instruction
Create and lead a computer curriculum designed for older adults
Arrive on time, take attendance, and report any issues to staff
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Knowledge
Advanced computer skills
Must be committed to staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends
Must be friendly, courteous and warm working with older adults
Experience teaching individuals or groups preferred
