The Opportunity
The Administrative Assistant facilitates the day-to-day operation of the Engineering and Public Works
department through effective communication and records management and through development and
administration of efficient work processes. This role will provide administrative support to the Commissioner,
EPW.

What we are offering
This is a Temporary Full-time opportunity at the District for up to twelve (12) months. The annualized

SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support to the Commissioner, Engineering & Public Works (EPW). Facilitates the day-to-day
operation of the department through effective communication and records management and through development
and administration of efficient work processes.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
Commissioner
o Research, compile data and prepare Committee s, correspondence, policies and procedures
o Review, edit, prepare, distribute, and coordinate meeting agendas and minutes including meetings of the
Engineering & Public Works Committee, special purpose committees, departmental meetings and meetings
with various external parties and stakeholder groups.
o Create and maintain assigned work projects such as major documents, databases and special s.
