We all love our teaching and find it to be a privilege to work closely with our students, teaching them as individuals within a small group to achieve far more for them than we can within a larger school class. We offer in person tuition at our centres in Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket and Ipswich for a variety of subjects from year 4 to year 13. We also offer online tuition.

All of our tutors are fully qualified teachers and DBS checked. We are looking to recruit across a variety of subjects; there are vacancies both online and face to face.

Independent Professionals
Our recruitment process is thorough which allows us to respect the professionalism of our tutors by giving them the freedom to tutor relatively unsupervised. Our contracts with Academies and Trusts require adherence and monitoring to key professional standards, something we find come naturally to our colleagues.

We operate as a cooperative of professional teachers in which we provide the structure and professional framework within which colleagues are free to focus on their first love of supporting students with tuition. We currently have vacancies across a variety of subjects for both face to face and online tutors; our face to face centres are based at Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket and Ipswich.

You will need to be an experienced and qualified classroom teacher with a joy of teaching.

You will need to complete our application form, which will be emailed to you once you have expressed interest, andon which you will be asked for details of your teaching experience and to provide names of two professional referees.

There will be a formal interview after which successful candidates will be invited to join the Community Schools subject to a DBS check.

We tutor students from year 4 to year 13 of all abilities in core subjects, maths, English, Science and modern languages. We are increasingly offering other (close to the full range of) subjects at GCSE and A level. COVID-19 considerations:
At our face to face centres we have plastic protective screens separating students and tutors. We are currently operating with a mask policy and ask that all staff and students wear a face mask at sessions. We regularly clean sanitize the workspace.
