The Coder School San Francisco is an after-school drop-off program for kids learning to code. We have two locations, in West Portal and the Inner Richmond. Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate Coding Instructor to teach elementary or middle school students in person starting late August or September assuming that CA’s re-opening plans remain on track. You will meet incredible kids, teach them how to code – and how to think like a coder – and be rewarded with an amazing experience. This is a part-time position for anywhere from 5-10 hours/week, 3-5pm, depending on your schedule and availability.

Responsibilities
Teach Scratch, Python, or HTML one-to-one online via Zoom for now, then one-to-one or one-to-two in-person when our sites are re-opened.

Requirements
What do we want from you?

• PASSION. All caps! This is all about giving back to the kids. We need to see goose bumps when your student ROCKS a coding lesson.

• Great with kids. Patience, a but of fun, and energy are virtues when it comes to kids!

• Coding Skills. Strong grasp of Scratch, Python, or HTML.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
