Working at The CODE Education

We are looking for exceptional tutors to join our team of dedicated educators working with a range of students, from primary school to university level. As a tutor at The CODE, you will work on a freelance basis, and be matched with specific clients to ensure the best possible working relationship. The CODE Education is a unique tutoring agency: working with our sister company, Connections in Mind, we ensure that all our tutors are Executive Function-aware, working to provide the best academic teaching to our clients as well as incorporating the organisational, independent-study and revision skills required to help our clients succeed. Applicants should have some working knowledge of either Executive Functions, Growth Mindset approaches to learning, coaching, SEN students, and/or the psychology behind effective study skills.

The Role:

We are currently recruiting tutors experienced in supporting students in two key areas:

• GCSE, A-Level & IB – highly desirable subject areas include: Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English, Psychology, Business Studies, EPQ, Economics, Geography, Sociology, Languages (Spanish in particular!), Personal Statements and UCAS Applications. Our list is not exhaustive and any subject experts across the curriculum are welcome to apply.
• SEN / Study Skills Experts – tutors who have experience working with a range of neurodiverse students with specific learning challenges including ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, as well as students struggling with their organisation/time management/task initiation/ essay-writing/revision skills, and can combine subject knowledge with skill-building.

Experience of delivering tutoring lessons online is essential.
Salary: £30-55 per hour depending on experience.

Part-time hours: 0-10 per week

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: £40.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
The majority of our lessons take place online but on occasion tutors will be required to deliver lessons in-person at the client’s home. We do try to keep face-to-face lessons to a minimum in order to ensure safety around COVID-19.
