In this role you will lead a team of committed professionals to deliver a broad suite of people strategies and solutions to our business. Your team is responsible for building human resources partnerships, provides advice on employee and industrial relations, leads workforce planning and manages all recruitment activities.

As a key member of the City’s extended Leadership team and reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this is a great opportunity to work with likeminded leaders in a supportive team environment. With growth and transformation in the frame, this is an exciting time to join us. We have a new HRIS coming on-line and this role will be leading the team to help deliver pivotal change and deliver operational excellence.

To be considered for this role, you’ll possess the following skills and/or qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
• Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills, together with the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex matters
• Comprehensive understanding of the legislative and industrial framework that applies to human resource management issues.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships with a range of individuals and facilitate cooperation; guide, coach and develop team members.
• Experience in designing and overseeing contemporary HR, ER and IR systems and practices

This is a permanent full time position with a Salary starting from $145,000+ pa plus 10.5% superannuation and fantastic benefits such as:
