The Cigna Group Hiring for Concurrent Review Care Coordinator – eviCore – Remote at Hartford, CT Full Time

The Registered Nurse (RN) Care Coordinator (Utilization Review Analyst) is an integral member of the eviCore PAC (Post-Acute Care) Concurrent Review team. The RN will perform various clinical and operational processes related to transition/coordination of care and utilization/case management of Post-Acute Care services including, but not limited, to long term acute care, skilled nursing and inpatient rehab facilities, home health care, care management, and utilization review.

Responsibilities:
Develop care plan and other case management tools by participating in frequent discussions with the post-acute care facilities & their staff.

Identify progress toward desired care outcomes; intervening to overcome deviations in the expected plan of care; reviewing the care plan with patients in conjunction with the direct care providers.

Education and License:
Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred

Active and unrestricted RN license valid in the state of residence

Qualifications:
At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience required

Prior managed care experience preferred

Must have strong time management & ability to work autonomously.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Must possess the ability to type at least 30 wpm

Required schedule is four 10-hour shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday; 8a-7p EST.

Rotating holidays and on-call.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 25 – 38 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
