• Robust administrative and project support to the workforce and education team across all programmes of work including collation of accurate and timely information to support programme reporting
• Supporting the Greater Manchester (GM) Cancer Workforce and Education Team in engaging key stakeholders
• Take a lead role in working with the Workforce Programme Lead to increase the number of cancer volunteers across Greater Manchester and East Cheshire
• Support the Programme Leads/Project Leads to define outcomes across all programmes of work
• Contribute to the identification and reporting of progress/under performance of the workforce and education programmes of work
• Contribute to project plan reviews to ensure that any underperformance or potential delay is identified early and reported to the Workforce Programme Lead accordingly

The post holder will contribute to the workforce and education programme by providing effective and proactive programme support functions, and will support the smooth running and effective communication of the programme’s goals and objectives. There will also be opportunities to be involved and lead short term projects including increasing the number of cancer volunteers across GM.

The successful candidate will have an ability to think creatively and work across boundaries in order to effectively undertake this role.
