The purpose of this post is to assess and identify gaps, plan, and implement accessible multi-professional learning programmes in education within the trust. Development of remediation plans for trainees and other learner groups affected by COVID-19.

However, it is intended that the post-holder will also be involved in other educational activities within the School of Oncology. The exact nature of such involvement can be discussed and developed based on the post-holder’s own interests and prior experience.

The post holder will also be encouraged to participate in service development/quality improvement projects within the department. There is also opportunity to gain research experience by supporting the team with existing multi-centre research trials, or by undertaking original research in support of the projects above.

The post is full time and is 80% Education and a minimum 20% Clinical.

The clinical component is likely to include a combination of ward-based and clinic sessions within oncology/supportive care.

The post also provides the opportunity to undertake the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical or Health Education.
