We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who will support existing and newly recruited HCSW’s, ensuring provision of pastoral support so individuals have a quality experience and be involved in their induction programmes.

This is an education and support training role and as a champion for HCSW’s, the role will contribute, under the direction of the Clinical Skills Training Manager, to the delivery of the Christie Care Certificate (CCC) induction programme and provide specific competency assessments and education/training opportunities.

The successful candidate will need a thorough knowledge of all of the standards associated with the Christie Care Certificate and have clinical experience working as a Nurse Associate or Healthcare Support Worker and be clinically competent with a number of clinical skills and be prepared to work in clinical practice.

Candidates must have highly effective interpersonal skills including the ability to work with a diverse team of professionals; able to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels and use own initiative. Must have excellent organisational and administrative skills and be able to meet tight deadlines.
