About The Education Coordinator Role
Do you enjoy working collaboratively to drive positive change? Do you thrive on coaching others to achieve successful outcomes? Our Central Falls school is seeking an enthusiastic educator with strong interpersonal and organizational skills for the position of part time Education Coordinator.

In this role, you will collaborate with our full time Education Coordinator, School Director and Regional Director of Education to oversee educational programming and quality improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies. You will provide mentoring and coaching support to team members in assigned classrooms and guide professional development experiences. Observe and provide timely feedback to Lead Teachers as they develop and implement ago appropriate curriculum designed to advance the development of children across all domains of learning. Actively engage with parents/guardians to provide feedback on children’s progress and offer resources and referrals as needed.

Work Schedule & Compensation:
This is a part time position working 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday. The work schedule can be flexible over the course of 3-5 work days per week. Education, Licensure & Experience:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field, such as child development, elementary education or special education;
• Preferred – Current RI Dept of Education teacher certification for grades pre-K to second grade or early childhood special education;
• At least 1 year of supervised teaching experience in a licensed/approved early childhood program;
• Successful completion of RIELDS Foundations plus Implementing a Standards-Based Program (past or within first year of employment.)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
