As TDS‘ Special Education Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with OT, PT, SLP, behavior specialists, school districts, and families, to develop and implement our students’ IEPs.
• Writing and implementing all pertinent paperwork including, such as Re-Evaluation , IEP, Progress Monitoring Data, etc.
• Developing specific and appropriate classroom management plans.
• Identifying students’ needs, determining appropriate goals, and developing related education plans.
• Maintaining a regular schedule of communication with families regarding classroom activities and student performance.

Here are the requirements to be Special Education Teacher with TDS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• At least one year of successful experience in a Special Education setting
• Current certification in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in Special Education

Clearances

• Act 73 FBI, Act 34 Criminal Clearance, Act 33 Child Clearance.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
