Responsibilities

• Assist the HR Team with sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new staff members including:
• Source for all salaried and hourly positions within the Bakery; research resume boards for qualified candidates and engage them through phone, email, and text.
• Phone screen candidates as needed.
• Monitor and respond to inbound job posting inquiries from Craigslist, Indeed and social media ads.
• Facilitate/coordinate job hiring events to continue to build a pipeline of ready-now candidates.
• Schedule applicant phone and on-site interviews with hiring managers and other team members and send detailed information to the candidates.
• Create specific advertising strategies in partnership with our third-party advertising agency and continue to search for innovative recruiting ideas.
• Drive additional applicant flow by developing relationships with local outreach programs, colleges, culinary schools, and work source centers.
• Maintain updated job descriptions for Bakery Positions and add new ones as needed.
• Assist with exit interviews and manage tracking of reasons for leaving and other consistent feedback.
• Send out Day 1 surveys to new hires and Hiring Manager Recruiting Feedback surveys.
• Manage the Employee Referral Program and ensure timely payout to those who qualify.
• Coordinate new hire preparations for day 1.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Recruiting; preferably high-volume experience.
• Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
• Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong knowledge of operating a variety of office equipment.

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or HR Certification preferred.
