The Finance Manager (to be known internally as Head of Finance) will play a key role in leading the finance function and will assist the Director of Finance and Corporate Services in ensuring a robust control environment, delivering management and statutory reporting and contributing to ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of the Charity. This role involves managing all aspects of the Charity’s finances. This is a full-time role but part-time hours will be considered – minimum 25 hours per week, this can be discussed at the interview stage.
We are looking for a fully-qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience. You must be an experienced line manager with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a finance team to produce high-quality output and build successful relationships within the team remotely and in person. The successful candidate will also have experience of improving finance processes and creating efficiencies in ways of working. Strong analytical skills and the ability to see and contribute to the bigger picture whilst working quickly and efficiently at a detailed level is important in this role and will require someone very solutions focused.
