St. Ann School in Lawrenceville, NJ, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our Pre-K 3-Year-Old Program team. Working directly with an energetic veteran teacher, the Teacher Assistant will play a key role in providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment for our youngest students.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for 3-year-old students.
• Support students in their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging and interactive experiences.
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and caregivers.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); college coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
• Previous experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Ability to follow directions, take initiative, and work independently as needed.
